About the Artist

Born and raised in the rugged hills of northeast Iowa near the Mississippi River, I have spent many years hunting, fishing and enjoying the natural beauty of the region. I have been a professional artist for more than 26 of those years. Art has been a life-long passion and I actually do not recall any point when I ever wished to become anything but an artist. In designing the art for the Weston Collection of benches, I try to capture a feeling rather than "crank out a design". I my view, that sets our benches apart from the rest. There are certainly limitations and unique challenges in casting art for bench use, but if my name is going to be on it, you can be assured that the designs will be honest in their content and my very best efforts. I feel I have only scratched the surface of what is to come in the artistic outdoor furniture and accessories line. Check back soon and see where we're headed!
